We are the Banana Times, the official newsletter of this class.
The Banana Times is a nonsensical yet funny newsletter published every week. It started off in 2009, created by our 2 founders, The white D.T.P.K. and the jackpot M.B.G.. The Banana Times was initially for homework purposes, but our founders found the potential in The Banana Times and made it a official newsletter. There has been very good responses and The Banana Times have become very popular in the class. The Banana Times has even been issued on the class blog!
Now, due to the heavy load of homework and the increasing demands of the more frequent publications of The Banana Times, we need more reporters and photographers.

Sorry for the late update for the Homework Corner, well, I think that by the time I updated this, almost 50% of the people would be sleeping, so, sorry.
My Internet was down for about 5 hours. I had to wait until my dad to come home and fix it. Sigh... I wish I hadn't asked my dad to buy the wireless connection. It keeps disconnecting. I should have kept to the wired intranet.
Well anyway, I am thinking of putting up a achievement corner to record all the achievements made by every member of the class. This can also provide as a base for the 'future' achievement corner in our class.
I would like to gather all the achievements by next week and I will create that corner. If it looks and feels ok on the blog, then we shall leave it there. For now, I would like everyone to tag on the tagboard of what achievements we have made

Well, actually, we all know that the purpose of holidays is to make us do homework and revise and keep us 'entertained' and do not 'waste' our holidays.
But hey, look on the bright side. At least we get to wake up later than usual. We can have more free time and all. We can play longer, sleep longer, and rest longer. Lets take this opportunity to have some rest. Oh dear, projects have never seemed so terrible.
I hope we have a few weeks break before the next battle(for our marks) begins.
Now that the CAs are over n ppl are getting back their results, ive been noticing some guys wearing sad faces upon sight of their results...
Well i just wanna say, cheer up! The ordeal is finally over after all. Take a break and relax or something. If u already tried your best then u should be satisfied with your marks. Maybe u just slipped up and made just one mistake(but a grave one) and it ended up with a way lower-than-expected result. But look on the bright side,its not like it cant be reversed, its just CA1 after all, so just buck up for the future heavier-weightage Tfu projects,SAs and CA2 and all will be fine!

SINGAPORE (Reuters) – Singapore's iconic Merlion statue, a popular tourist attraction, was damaged by lightning Saturday afternoon during a thunderstorm, government radio reported. No one was hurt.
News radio station 938Live said the Merlion was struck by lightning between 4 and 5 pm local (0800-0900 GMT), causing parts of the statue to fall near a group of startled visitors.
The 8.6 metre-tall Merlion has the head of a lion and the body and tail of a fish, and sits at the mouth of the Singapore River near the central business district.
The lion head symbolises Singapore's founding by an Indonesian prince who named his new settlement after a lion he saw when he landed on the island. The body of the fish represents Singapore's origins as a fishing village.
Singapore, or "Singapura," is derived from the Sanskrit words Singa (or Lion) and Pura (City).
Singapore's police could not be reached for comment while a spokeswoman for Singapore's information ministry said she did not have any details about the incident.
